Offensive odours are created by bacteria and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in the air. Many infections and viruses are spread by aerosol processes. Moulds and fungi are also carried in the air, damaging buildings and causing
respiratory complaints.
What’s more, bacteria, viruses, moulds and fungi carried in contaminated air, are deposited on exposed surfaces making enclosed rooms very unhygienic for most people. Standard cleaning procedures only offer temporary solutions.
As soon as an area is cleaned and then re-used, bacteria return and grow at a rapid rate bringing the smells back until the next cleaning session. Fragrances use chemicals to mask odours – they do not remove the causes of the odours. Our units recreate mountain fresh air wherever they operate eliminating the need for masking agents and perfumes.
In September 2009 the Health Protection Agency’s laboratories at Porton Down performed efficacy testing of the AIRsteril MP20 Unit’s ability to reduce airbourne and surface microbial contamination.
The tests showed a reduction of airborne microorganisms of up to 98.11% within five minutes of exposure and a reduction of surface contamination up to 59.47% in one hour, the surface tests included MRSA.

Bio-Fogging is a well proven, safe, deep sterilisation process that is a recommended procedure to rid the air of background build up of pathogens and pollutants.
The fogging process completely cleanses the air and surfaces within the building
by using a high velocity jet of vaporisation to reach every corner and surface of
the premises and can even sanitise congested features such as cupboards
and shelves.
The bio-fogging process is acknowledged as being the most effective method for
sterilising multi-surface enclosed environments and is equally effective on
hard and soft surfaces.
In addition to its sanitising properties, the fogging regime serves to freshen and deodorise the premises. The active ingredient in the fogging solution is stabilised Chlorine Dioxide which is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens.
You can be assured that the premises are cleansed to the highest standard,
including the air, with this simple process.
Prevent the spread of infections such as Norovirus, Influenza and the common cold to name a few of the outbreaks that commonly occur and spread within closed space.
