On Saturday 24th April TWC got to celebrate the homecoming of ‘Argo’ in Thirsk Town Centre.   It was a great opportunity to meet all the other sponsors and talk to Jasmine about her epic adventure across the Atlantic. During the celebrations it was a pleasure to witness Jasmine get awarded ‘The Freedom of the Parish of Sowerby and Thirsk Town Centre’. 

Although the event could not be publicised due to COVID restrictions, there was a lovely turnout of local people who wanted to hear all about her adventure and see the boat that she lived on for 70 days, 3hrs and 48 minutes!

Jasmine has raised over £24,500 for charity ShelterBox and the Blue Marine Foundation.
